I am really considering a career in biotech because the field has potential for massive growth. Will this be a career where success will be found, and where are most of the successful biotech companies. Also, what major should I choose in undergraduate and graduate school? Thanks!

hi..new here..
im considering taking biochem or biotech too..i think you can be successful in any career, it depends on your interests. the location of the companies doesn't really matter, i have the impression that you will need to travel a lot.
my question..
what do people think are the best well-known / prestigious schools for natural sciences as in academic ranking? (might not be ivy league but famous schools)

It will grow very fast, but some people say it can go down like the dot-com boom. Searh for biotech bubble on google. But the good news is that few bio tech jobs can be outsourced like software jobs because the FDA has strict rules.

The major is be called bioengineering or biomedical engineering.

I'm not sure, but i think i remember that alot of biotech companies exist in the boston area. Alot of them are start up companies of Harvard and MIT graduates
