I stayed in New/North for ExploreUSC and the cleanliness of the bathrooms was definitely off-putting for me, leading me to want to stay in Parkside because of the private bathrooms. Are the bathrooms in Birnkrant cleaner? How is the upkeep? I heard it was recently renovated to some extent? Is that also true for New/North?
Also, is it probably too late to get Birnkrant? I’m a Trustee candidate.
As with any communal bathroom, they will not be up to your own standards of cleanliness. There’s always gonna be messy people in a dorm. But yes, they’re cleaner than New/North ones. BK’s are cleaned twice a day on weekdays, I think. And no, it’s not too late if you apply now.

They are pretty dirty. I live in BK right now. Most communal bathrooms are dirty - it depends on the people on your floor though. You get used to it.
