I want to go to Virginia Tech and apply to the BIT Program but I have seen that the 25th percentile gpa is 3.8 but when you look at the class rank, almost a third of them were not even in the top quarter of their class.
Right now I have a 3.57 weighted but I suspect that our gpa isn’t on the same scale as theirs. Our school doesn’t give the extra point for honors, and duel enrollment but gives a .048 point increase for AP. I’m currently in the top 20% of my class but my gpa is way lower than their average.
Do I have a chance?
