Is it against the rules of this forum to create a blacklist of individuals who you've sent an essay to that didn't respond? I would think that implementing such a list may reduce the chances of sending essays to individuals whose primary intent is to steal promising pieces of writing in order to augment their own apps. It might be beneficial to create a time limit of, say 3 days, and if they haven't responded with either an evaluation or a message explaining why they were unable to critique it (eg. no time available), you could put their username on the list so that in the future, they will no longer be able to trick others and obtain their essays. They could create new accounts, but I would assume that most people here are intelligent enough to not send their essays to accounts with virtually no posts.

I'm asking this because I recently sent a very promising draft of my essay (imho) to 10 people and less than half of them responded, which to me was very surprising. Apparently less than half the people here can be trusted to actually give you a halfway decent evaluation of your work. I know that it's not in the spirit of this forum, but such a list may prove useful to other college applicants in the future.
