I was looking for a movie on Netflix when I came across the kids section. It then came to me about all the shows/movies I used to watch as a kid. My favorite show was Barnie and Friends. I watched it every night at 8:30 on PBS kids. My favorite movie is and still is Grease, kinda old but, I enjoy musicals.
So what was everyones favorite t.v show and movie when you guys where little??
I read the title as “Blast from the psat” haha. I loved Hannah Montana and High School Musical :’)
Grease is and always will be amazing. #Kenickie4lyfe
TV Show: The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
Movie: The Parent Trap (1998)
TV Show: Wizards of Waverly Place
Movie: Hm…I don’t think I really had one. I watched way too much TV. xD
My parents didn’t let me watch any of these because (in order) I wasn’t old enough, my brother wasn’t old enough, or I was too old.
My favorites shows were Suite Life of Zack & Cody, & Arthur. I actually watched Arthur until eighth grade lol.
I’ve never really been a movie person. I like TV.
TV shows: I didn’t watch much TV when I was a kid, but I liked Arthur, Sesame Street, and also the Muppets (way better than today’s cartoon shows IMO).
Movies: A lot of 90’s Disney films (particularly The Lion King and Tarzan)
While I didn’t watch much other than PBS Kids and Disney Junior until the fourth grade (5-year younger brother tbh) I am completely enamored with Steven Universe and Gravity Falls currently. PM me if you’re following either of them, I need to fangirl.
@JeanJacket123, when I tell people my favorite movie is Grease their like what, that movie was made way before you
In tears Doesn’t Rebecca Sugar care about us?
Rebecca Sugar??
@Soccerchic24 pshhhh they are apparently ignorant of the phrase “an oldie but a goodie!”
@JeanJacket123 No, I was unfortunately forbidden from watching most of the shows on this thread for various reasons. Rebecca Sugar is the absolute GODDESS behind Steven Universe, which is juvenile but really, really good.
@JeanJacket123 what other oldies do you like?
@awesomepolyglot oh I meant the other people soccerchic mentioned. The ones who think liking old movies is weird! @soccerchic24 hmmmmm Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany’s are amazing! Audrey Hepburn is so talented! And Singin’’ in the Rain is so fun to watch. I also like A Clockwork Orange, but for very different reasons lol. But when I was younger I liked Aladdin and The Lion King. Its not that old but one of my absolute favorite films is The Princess Bride, oh man it’s just so charming!!!
@JeanJacket123 Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. And,
OHMAGOSH THE PRINCESS BRIDE YAAAAAAAAAS
I never seen any of those
I also liked Higglytown Heroes and Teletubbies
When I was younger, my sister and I watched a lot of 80’s and 90’s movies with our dad. The favorites between my sister and I are “Real Genius” and “Spaceballs”. “Princess Bride” is also great.
