Can a student who is out of state (tuition) for the Fall become eligible for the Blue and Gold grants if they become in-state residents for the Winter or Spring quarters? Or is Blue and Gold eligibility only determined annually?
I’m applying to UC for Fall 2016 and could become resident during the Spring 2017, but I’m not sure if I should wait to enroll at a UC until Fall 2017 for this reason. I’ll become a resident for tuition purposes starting Winter 2017, but I don’t know if my out-of-state status during Fall 2016 would exclude me from the Blue and Gold grants for the entire year.
