My friend still needs to take the SAT, so I informed him of studying via the BB and evaluating his answers. I didn't use an answer guide when I studied using the BB, I just looked at a problem until I finally figured out the correct and efficient logic. However, my friend insists on getting answer explanations. So, I decided to ask you all if you know if the Testmaster's solution guide for the BB is any good. Does it cover Math, Grammar, and CR? Are they in depth and display good logic? Or, should he just pay the extra 30 bucks and get immediate access to the online Collegeboard Course? Does the online course have in depth explanations as well?

Thanks!

Bumping this up for an answer.

I know there was a thread back in CC that had explanations and links… You can try searching, but I don’t remember what was it called.

The online explanations were OK on Collegeboard. To be honest, I never really looked at them too much (they came with my online course). I just used it to skim through the wrong answers, but the explanations were sometimes unnecessarily long. If your friend is someone who really wants explanations AND is willing to read all of them, Collegeboard will be a good idea. If not, save your money and buy another prep book to practice!

Yeah, I know they have the “consolidated answers” as a sticky on the top of this forum, but I think he was wanting something he could print out so he doesn’t have to sit in front of the computer and do the tests.

Thanks for your answer, grayfalcon.
Does anyone know about the Testmasters solutions?
