I would like the answer explanations for two questions..for both I narrowed it down to two.

Test 3/pg.525/7

The reference to the "young, middle-aged, and old Wilson" (line 4) serves to suggest the..
(A) multifaceted nature of Wilson's literary persona.
(E) consistency of Wilson's letter-writing style.

Test 3/pg. 528/19

The passage is primarily concerned with the
(C) nature of the pelasure that most people find in a work of art.
(E) contrast between the formal elements of the new art and those of the old.

Test 3 /pg.525/7
E ,because Wilson`s styles remains the same when he is young ,middle-aged ,and old. This explains the consistency of his style

E-when it says “young, middle aged, and old,” it implies that he speaks “directly through his letters” throughout his life–thus, he is consistent in his style. It does nothing to show how he may be multifaceted in any way.

C-it does contrast new and old art, but towards the beginning it says “What is it that the majority of people call aesthetic pleasure?” This is the subject of the first paragraph [what happens when people like art?] and of the second [what are people interested in]? I’m not sure if that’s a very good explanation, you just have to realize that the contrast is not the focus of the passage; the human response to art is the focus when you look at it paragraph by paragraph.

hope that helps.

Thank you so much :] I understand perfectly now.
