<p>what i did was plug in numbers that work into each of the possible choices. (A) is the only one that works. (B) is wrong because when n = 0, the function still equals x (same problem with (C)). (D) just doesn't work and in (E), when n = 0, the function equals (x-z), which is wrong.</p>

<p>lol, i used a calculator program to solve this in like 30 seconds!!!</p>
<p>Anyway, the circle is 1/12 portion. So 2pir/12=6pi. solve for radius, then the area is pir^2/12. i think thats correct; im too lazy to do the work</p>
