If 4 $ (5y) = (5y) @ 4, what is the value of y?</p>

<p>answer: 6/5 or 1.2</p>

<p>this is the only problem giving me a real hard time i dnt no y (diff = med)...i just dont no where to begin...</p>

4 $ (5y)= 4 + 15y
(5y) @ 4= 5y + 16</p>

<p>make those equal to each other</p>

<p>10y= 12</p>

<p>y= 12/10 </p>

<p>reduced is 6/5 and decimal value is 1.2</p>
