Blue Book Score Ranges

When you take a practice test, and you get your raw score, what do you do with it? The charts seem somewhat ambiguous....for example...my most recent score could be between something like a 2030 and a 2360. That's a damn big range... practically unacceptable to near perfect scores.

Which side do you choose? The top end? The low end? The middle? What seems ot be the most accurate? For example, on that test that I could have gotten a 2360 on, I skipped two math questions and got none wrong. The range for that is 720-800. I feel like there's no way that skipping two will lower you down to a 720, but I could be wrong.

What should I pick for the most accurate score?

Lets say ur range for math was 700-760, take the middle of the range, for example add 700 and 760 and divide by 2 to get 730

If that was a timed test taken under test conditions (quite room, etc) you're going to score about 2,200 (give or take 30 points). The trick is to take your "range score", add the two numbers and divide by two. It should give you a pretty good estimate of how well you'll do on test-day.

Hope that helps.

Edit: Looks like I just repeated almost word-for-word what Ronakmp wrote. Sorry about that. Anyways, that's been my experience with BB "score ranges".
