Blue Devil Day

Anyone go on the 10th?

Hah, I gave the tour on the 10th.

i'm coming this friday!

If you are going to cancel, I think you can just wait until you get the email of your host and explain to them what is going on. You will want to email the student hosting people as well. I hosted a pfrosh on Sunday night, and we had a good time. I'll be hosting for the next three BDDs as well. It's a lot of fun to show off your campus and explain to new people why you are so interested in your school! Plus I have some extra food points to burn (I have no clue from where, though).

Hey bluedevilmike, did you happen to be the Pratt guy? :)

I took the 2:45 group into CIEMAS, yes... but I'm actually an Econ major, so no, I'm not a "Pratt guy" per se. I do have Pratt envy sometimes, though...

Cool. I had Abby, who was a really good tour guide, but I had the morning tour so I probably didn't bump into your group.

They get so much free stuff. :p

free stuff? that should include...textbooks. you know, the freaking expensive engineering textbooks? ):

I have Pratt envy!!

Like...you know...realizing I don't want to be a doctor and deciding engineering would be the best for me but realizing it's too late...

Is Pratt more competitive than Trinity?

In what sense? For admission? (No, on average, but for a given student, one might be easier than another.)

Well, I just got back late last night from Duke and JHU. I must say that the visit really confirmed my love for Duke. I did the activites fair, department fair, the arts and sciences thing (that was soooo boring and pointless), took a tour, ate lunch with Prof Bonk (he was awesome), went to the premed session and visited the Gardens.
I'm down to two schools now, Michigan and Duke. I'd choose Duke in a heartbeat if it wasn't for price (UM is some 28k less per year).
