Blurted about Rate my professor in front of college profesor?

In high school it doesn’t really matter because you don’t have a choice of teacher. In college you usually do and are paying for your classes so why not make an informed decision?

Oh, I have no rproblem with ratings, or checking ratings.

But I’ve found that the vast majority of ratings for almost anything… restaurants, resorts., movies… are bad.

People who have had a bad experience tend rom want to be vindicated. People who have had a good experience tend to pat themselves on the back for their good judgement and go on with their lives

Also lets not forget that some of those reviews in RMP are from lazy waste of humans who do nothing but complain.

Yes, which is why you take ratings with a grain of salt. Doesn’t mean you should completely ignore them.

One of my CS professors posted on the section where the teachers are allowed to respond. He acknowledged that he was a difficult professor in terms of grading and understood why he had so many negative reviews. He basically uses a curve system in which 35% or more of the students get F’s. He eventually took down his comment though. I wonder why.
