I'll be doing either ChE or BME. Do many engineers get into med school? Considering engineering classes are harder, how likely is it for an engineer to get into med school?
What GPA is needed to get into the med school?

Thank you.

Yes Engineers get into med school. But there aren’t any special rules for engineers, and typically not much leeway on GPA due to any perceived “difficulty” of curriculum. For your other questions, check out the FAQ threads first. Lots of info in there.

THAT’S INSANE!

How am I supposed to get a 3.8-4.0 GPA as an engineer!?!?
That seems insane!

^^^

it’s not impossible to get a high GPA as a pre-med engineering student. Are you a strong student?

I wouldn’t recommend doing an engineering major at some school where grading/competition is brutal and the situation is cut-throat. My son is at a mid-tier flagship, is a ChemE major, and has a 4.0. It’s not easy, he studies hard, and his grades reflect that.
