BME + Pre-health + Grand challenges

I am planning on going into BME at Georgia Tech with Grand Challenges and pre-health. Can someone who has done something similar tell me how difficult it is and what your class schedule looks like?

@Hokuhoku2018 Grand Challenges will keep you busy with a social science group project where you will have to present it. It will take up a lot of your free time. its not for every kid, I would say, as its so time consuming, but it is a good living group, if you don’t mind working on a group social science project. Remember that freshman work together, so while it may be a research project, it may not really be that technical, because freshman come in with all sorts of math backgrounds
and science backgrounds. Look at the projects in past years to get an idea what you will do in Grand Challenges.

Students in Grand Challenges do social events and meet some administrators along the way too, so it is a good option for networking.

If you are premed, you need to take a list of classes to prepare for the physics, math, chemistry and biology questions on the MCAT, look up premedical requirements at a top medical school. If you are going to be a PT, or another medical profession, you don’t need to do that.
