<p>Sorry for the questions below, I have a feeling one has been asked before more than once:</p>
<p>I'm a loyal The Wire watcher and I first heard of JHU when I watched the tv show The Wire. What side of Baltimore is JHU located in, is the U in a safe area, and does anyone know a fella by the name of Ben Parris?</p>
<p>He was my TA last semester.</p>
<p>The Hopkins Homewood campus is located in upper north central Baltimore, taking up much of the Charles Village neighborhood. Charles Village is one of the safest and most residential parts of Baltimore. It is just south of the Roland Park section of the city which is for lack of a better phrase, the wealthy part of the city. </p>
<p>I am season two of the Wire and basically the fictional scenes of the show are shot no where near the Homewood campus.</p>
