<p>Yeeesh. Sure, those of us with heavy scholarships won’t feel the impact of this, but it’s impossible to ignore the possibility budget cuts or fee increases in the future.</p>
<p>Looks like they’re considering matching Auburn’s tuition rate. </p>
<p>If this staves off budget cuts by the university, then it has to be done. </p>
<p>I know that Dr. Witt want to raise the profs’ salaries, this may be part of the reason.</p>
<p>It is actually one of the lower tuition rate increases in the state. If the state of Alabama provided more funding for Higher Ed, the size of these rate increases might be less. But the inflation of Higher Ed is worrisome.</p>
