Boarding School

I am hoping to start a boarding school for the 2016-2017 school year. This is a relatively new idea for me. I have been tested as “gifted” and up until this year (9th) grade I was pulling all A’s. My grades have dropped drastically and as a result my family put boarding school on the table. I am involved at my school (I am a student athlete) and have plans to become a vet, and have since preschool. I am a dedicated student who just lost motivation this school year. I also have very high standardized test scores. I am planning on taking the SSAT next month at a local school. What are my chances of getting into a boarding school with not so great grades from this year?

Do you mean 2017-18? It would be hard to get in for this fall (2016) but there might be some schools which still have space.

@mass2020mom No, this was just a relatively new idea that my parents had as they were extremely disappointed in my grades from this quarter and I agreed that a boarding school may provide the environment needed for my success. Have you heard anything about Hillcrest Academy or Upper Columbia Academy as I know both are still accepting applications.
