Book for Intro to Micro Econ?

So I am having trouble finding the book on used books sites and don't really want to pay 100 dollars for it. It says that its custom but I think the only difference is the myeconlab (don't know what that is).

For those who have taken the class before, is the "myeconlab" really necessary and if so, is there a cheaper way to get the book?

Thanks!

Well first of all, this is assuming they are still using the same book as last semester. From fall 08 to spring 09 they changed the books as well as the corresponding software.

To answer your question, yes you will very likely use “myeconlab”, probably for online quizzes and maybe homeworks. Unless there is a new edition of the texbook out/they changed the textbook, you should be able to find used copies. Maybe try kraftees?

You can purchase a single time myeconlab pass on their website if you would like to buy a used book.

In Intro to Macro, we used myeconlab as all of our homework assignments.
