Hello CC community! I just had a few questions to ask about the ACT.

I already took the ACT and scored a 27 composite (6/12 essay)

questions:

Which Books to use ( ialready have the Red Book and used 2/3 of the tests)

is "ACT 1,296" good?

how to improve essay (6/12 is not very parent-friendly)

as in how to make up examples and how to integrate them

I think the answer to your second question is yes. I haven’t used it but, I have heard good things about it… Also, try the Kaplan Premier… I like it…

Cracking the ACT by Princeton Review is solid. I heard Kaplan is bad or much harder than the actual ACT, or something of that sort. Cracking the ACT has a lot of test taking tips and The Real ACT study guide has good tests so if you take those tests and review from Cracking the ACT you should improve! Don’t stress out:)

To Shannon, I actually think people say that Kaplin is way too easy, maybe its good for 30’s but those tougher questions won’t be nice to you if you only use Kaplin.
