Can you list other challenging books that may improve vocabulary?

I’m reading one of the Sparknotes vocab novels, and it seems OK. Some of the vocab is a bit forced, but it is nice how you can just mouse over the words to see what the word means. So much less distracting than toggling back and forth between a book and the dictionary.

In my experience with those Spark notes novels, the vocab is pretty forced. I’m not sure how well it will work for you, but I only picked up a few of the words that I did not know. A majority of the words are pretty simple though (i.e. “universal”)

Frankenstein worked pretty well for me, but I would not pick books just because they have massive vocab. I would try to find a book that interests you while challenging your vocab.
