-o week is awesome! idk anyone who doesn’t like it. freshman year its just a week where you can relax, get used to the campus, meet people in your dorm, explore collegetown. after that its, i think a lot more fun, because its more about seeing all your friends again, catching up with people, and going to house/annex parties where you actually know people! no matter what though, who would actually dislike a week at cornell without work? it’s like the best thing ever

-schedules vary significantly b/w diff people, schools, and majors

-my schedule is ridiculous. it varies a lot throughout the year and would only be of use to someone in a studio major (fsad, dea, art, architecture)–studio classes are long, and weird breaks in the middle of the day are great because you can get studio work done.

generally something like:
10-12 class, 12-2 lunch/studio work, 2-5 class, 5-6 some sort of club meeting, 6-8 gym/shower/dinner, 8-12 go to studio, 12-2 readings/study

during huge project weeks i revert to an intense schedule in which I sleep in intervals and which allows me to drive to studio and park there:
7-10 sleep, 10-12 class, 12-2 studio work or readings/study (snacks no lunch), 2-5 class (or sleep if necessary and possible), 5-6 some sort of club meeting, 6-7 dinner/shower, 7pm-7am studio/library with a possible 1.5 or 3 hr nap if I decide I have time
^
I usually end up going a week on this schedule to get as much work as I can done and then end up pulling a couple of all nighters before the project is due. Closer to project dates I also end up skipping class, not to sleep, but to work in studio instead. I am often across the road from the class I’m supposed to be in.

might not be healthy, but usually is necessary

on weekends I usually try to go out to parties 2 nights or go out 1 night and chill with friends 1 night. sometimes I’m stuck in studio all weekend. usually though, I need to take at least 1 night off to de-stress, unless it would be completely impossible to get my work done.
