Boston Globe writer slams BC

[BC = better contribute - The Boston Globe](http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2010/04/16/bc__better_contribute/)

For the record I think he is totally off-base, but this has generated a ton of comments on the newspaper’s website.

I think Brian McGrory was denied admission to BC. This would prove that not all “fire hydrants” could be admitted to BC back in the day. Maybe he is one of the residents of Lake Street who moved next to a university campus and are surprised that there are undergraduates in the area.

Did you see McGrory’s interview after Scott Brown was elected to the Senate? He could barely contain his contempt for Massachusetts voters for having made such an egregious choice. He is the Rush Limbaugh of the liberal crowd.

“The school would accept a fire hydrant if it could pay the tuition.”

basically stopped reading after that. the guy lost all credibility with that sentence.
