<p>Hi, I'm currently a senior and I'm interested in BU's accelerated dental program.
I know for sure that I want to become a dentist so I feel as if it would be a wise choice to apply to this program....
However, I'm not really sure of the consequences if I do go through with this program (hypothetically speaking, of course).</p>
<p>I guess I was just wondering if any students who went through this 7-year program would provide any insights on how rigorous this program actually is. For example, is it much more rigorous than taking a pre-dental program at some other university? Would you recommend doing the 7 year program or going for the traditional 8 year path?<br>
Also, social life is very important to me. Were you able to hang out with friends on weekends or relax during winter breaks? I'm also interested in studying abroad, would that be a problem because it takes up too much time?</p>
