I’m so confused why they already wanted to reject me but still asked me to upload my materials. That’s a waste of time. So mad and disappointed.

Bu has been a mess this year. Why did they stagger rejections? Why not just release them at the same time? So confusing

Hey Everyone,
Sorry for being extremely late (Just like BU’s Decisions) to this thread. I have been lurking but never felt the need to post anything.
I was rejected on June 22, 2021… Waited since submitting application on February 27, 2021.
Luckily, I was admitted to Columbia University, University of Southern California, and UMich so I wasn’t planning on going to BU anyways.
But my heart goes out to everyone that was relying on Boston University as their final, or only decision. It is terrible that BU handled their “applications from many students around the world,” haphazardly. Regardless, best of luck to those still waiting decisions, and good luck to those admitted, and those who are admitted elsewhere.

I got rejected which I was quite shocked cause I thought I had some good stats. but it’s alright. good luck to the rest of y’all!
@ppl who are committed to BU as transfers.
Is it just me or is everything being handled horribly. Like administration are forgetting about us. For example, just now sending out info about our ID cards for the first time that are suddenly due July second (2 days), never telling us anything abt registration now classes are all full, confused advisors only sending you copy and pasted links, nothing on housing (when everyone already got housing). Just tried to reach out to my advisor and received an automatic message that they’re out of office for next 2 weeks.
Also, generally speaking but masks and covid testing is ridiculous in the fall. Vaccines are and should be required therefore, no need AT ALL for weekly covid testing. I somewhat understand masks (but not rlly). Please share your thoughts im curious if others are equally as frustrated.
