<p>Generally speaking, to me, any school that has an admit rate of 20% or less cannot be considered a "safety" for ANYONE. The fact that the school rejects 80% of their applicants says that they are looking at more than just the "numbers." They are "building a class" and you never know why one student may be accepted over another, despite similar "profiles."</p>
<p>And don't forget that a TRUE safey is a school that is an Admissions AND Financial safety. After all, what good would it do to get in to an Admissions safety and then not be able to afford to go there??</p>
