I’ve been accepted to both and both have givenme similar aid packages, and I love both pretty equally, so I can’t decide which one to choose! In your opinion, which school is a better choice and why?

Thanks!

Bowdoin, of course! haha. But really, I’ve had experience with both schools, Hamilton more than Bowdoin. Academically, they’re both great schools, but it comes down to what you want to study: Bowdoin has a superb gov program, their languages are better than hamilton (imo), but Hamilton’s writing program is very strong (unsure of Bowdoin’s).
Bowdoin generally tends to be ranked higher/have (a little) more prestige, but the difference probably isn’t enough to make or break a decision. Both schools both have the small-town feel, but Hamilton is very disconnected from the town.
what do you want to study? and what sorts of things do you want in a school?
