****brandeis 2021 regular decision thread****

I have the withdraw button, and I’m not LSC, but I was invited to apply for QBREC.

WAIT! I was looking in the wrong place for the Withdraw link. My D found it in her portal. It’s down between the application checklist and the financial aid checklist. Maybe everyone take another look? @Joeyyyy

I still don’t have the link. I’m an international student, so I don’t know if this makes any difference. I hope it’s not a sign of bad news.

Good luck everyone. I wish you all the best of luck!

usually Brandeis sends a heads up email about 2 days before decisions i thought?

Yeah that’s what they did last year, so I expected an email today…

Still no email today. If we don’t get one tonight I’m worried we won’t hear Thursday. Starting to get super anxious. I just want/need to know.

Just got the email, Thursday evening confirmed.

They don’t say what time though ugh

I feel like it’s going to be 5 p.m. EST. That seems like the standard release time for colleges.

I almost just had a heart attack I thought the email was the actual decision oml

last year (+ also previous years, so i guess it’s a rule) they released at 7pm eastern time

ugh why so late??

Good luck everybody!!

Just got the email, Im so nervous

What does evening mean tho???

I’m soo confused- I submitted my commonapp to brandeis late (had certain circumstances where they extended their deadline) and I was planning on sending my SAT afterwards but I never did because I kinda realized I had no interest in going there- BUT i just looked it up and realized they were test optional? They sent me an email saying the decision will be out Thursday so can I still get in or will I be rejected because I didn’t send my SAT?

I thought the email had a link to my decision… But it’s not today apparently

I’m so nervous. Good luck everyone

@gk1733 test optional doesn’t mean just forgetting to send the scores but still getting in. It requires something else instead, like a graded paper for example. This was intended for people who are academically strong, just not great at standardized testing.
