International and Global Studies major
College GPA: 4.0 (with 44+ credits)
UW HS GPA: 4.0
Did not submit my SAT
Lots of extracurricular activities - some leadership, community service, sports, and music
Great recommendation letters - I believe I submitted around five different ones
Out-of-state student - transferring from a Community College in Florida

Accepted! My question though is that I’m still waiting to hear from several other schools and don’t think I’ll hear back by May 3. If I call Brandeis can I talk to them about waiting until after to submit my enrollment deposit?

To the people who were accepted—have you heard about financial aid yet? I still haven’t received a letter about it in the mail and I’m starting to get anxious because we have to give them our decisions by May 3rd.
I was accepted but have to deposit by tomorrow and havent heard back from any other schools! Is anyone else in this position?
@runningoncoffee I was accepted 2 weeks ago and just paid my deposit tonight. I’m still waiting to hear from a bunch of other schools, but none of them would give me an earlier decision and Brandeis wouldn’t extend my deadline, so it made sense to pay the deposit seeing as Brandeis is basically my top choice. It’s a tough situation; I wish there was more communication between schools regarding their transfer decision dates.
I haven’t heard back from them yet. @runningoncoffee, did you apply early to the school? I applied a bit last minute and I’m wondering whether that’s why they are taking longer.
@Aeffia I think you might be right. I applied February 20th and got accepted 2 weeks ago. My friend who also applied last minute is still waiting for her decision.
For those who are still waiting for their decisions… Make sure to check Brandeis portal today around 3:00 - 4:00pm. If your “withdraw application” button is gone, then you’re likely to hear tonight! I got my decision two weeks ago at around 7:30pm. I know that there have been rumors that the second wave of decisions comes out today - in a couple of hours we’ll see if that’s true. In any case though, good luck everyone!
