Brandeis or U or Rochester?

My son is deciding between the 2. He may be a Studio Art major or Business or a combo. He likes the size of Rochester but the location of Brandeis. And thinks there may be more school spirit at Rochester. He’s not particularly swayed by Greek life or the Jewish identity of Brandeis.
Thoughts?

I’m a Brandeis alum as well as a college parent. My daughter knew she wanted a very strong studio art program, and for that reason she was uninterested in Brandeis. Although it has a lovely museum and is close to Boston, it definitely is not known for its art. There are very few art majors, comparatively. I have no idea if Rochester is similar, but I can tell you that it’s known, like Brandeis, for being strong in the sciences and generally having a preprofessional vibe. Has he talked to the chairs of the art departments at both schools?
