In the common app I mentioned that my interest is film and that I wanted to major in their film major.</p>

<p>thesunshine is correct, there are no separate undergraduate schools/divisions. While the Brandeis supplement does ask what majors interest you, all students come in undecided and have until the end of sophomore year to declare a major. Perhaps you are confusing Brandeis with another school?</p>
