break up of MATH questions SAT1

Hi all,

Need some help here please!!
My daughter is appearing for the DEC 1 SAT and would like to understand something. Will anyone be able to tell me the break of the questions in the MATH section. for example, XX of geometry, YY in algebra, ZZ in trig and such?

much appreciated!!

thanks, a

There are 4 general subject areas covered:

Number Theory
Algebra and Functions
Geometry
Probability, Statistics, and Data Analysis

Each of these subject areas accounts for roughly 25% of an SAT with maybe just a bit less emphasis on Probability and Statistics.

Trigonometry is not needed for the SAT.

Thank you @DrSteve!!
