<p>How does the Florida bright futures scholarship equate into private universities?</p>

<p>This is the information I found ---></p>

<p>Private Institution - Fixed award amount based
on 100% of the average tuition and allowable
fees covered at a comparable Florida public institution
including the specified amount established
by the Florida Legislature in the General
Appropriations Act provided for college-related
expenses (excluding summer term) prorated
by term and hours.</p>

<p>So how much aid would I be expecting from bright futures?
(not including any aid from UM)</p>

<p>My son, who is a junior, has been getting appoximately $2000/semester from Bright Futures and $1500/semester from FRAG [Florida Resident Access Grant].</p>
