For PLME applicants, is it possible to be admitted to Brown but not PLME? Does anyone know?
@ORM1229 Yes! It is possible. Applicants are first considered for admission to Brown University before PLME.
Do both Brown and PLME results come out on the same day?
Guys, wish me luck! My school has a “Brown curse” (students have been admitted to six of the eight Ivies, but consistently have been rejected from Brown); I’m hoping to break that unfortunate track record!
@gongtd1 From what I understand is in your acceptance letter they also tell you if you have been accepted or rejected from PLME
@epoque Happy late birthday! Being an adult has been pretty chill so far.
I think we’ve established that everyone can go in and look at courses.
The portal has changed so that now the only thing you see is admissions decision and a place to upload extra materials.
However – has anyone logged on to IDOC recently and gotten a request for more documents? I don’t see Brown on mine.
@whitespace Son’s IDOC has shown Brown for a few weeks, but I read that people were still seeing that appear as recently as today. Keep the faith!
@Alamom thanks! Hopefully it shows up soon, I’ll just keep hoping. 
If I don’t get into Brown I’ll be disappointed but I’m preparing myself so it’s not like it will be the end of the world.

my portal looks the same as it always has…I have the tabs for personal info, financial aid, and student
@layla2016 If you click on the Student tab, then go in to see your application status, you’ll see that the table showing all admissions requirements has disappeared.
ok was it just me or is the brown portal difficult to navigate? Or even find for that matter.

I thought it was actually not too bad. Finding the actual link required a little bit of digging, but the system and setup they use is really similar to a lot of public universities, including two I’d already applied to when I got my Brown info - maybe that’s why I feel familiar with it.

I don’t have Brown on my IDOC… which is strange to me because all my other schools (that only take IDOC upon request) have requested it. I assume my financial case is a bit complicated so I’d understand why they want the IDOC. BUT NOW THAT BROWN’S NOT THERE I’M GETTING WORRIED…
