International student here. I’ve seen people giving scores (out of 10) for LoRs and essays. Where do these scores come from??
Their own opinion on the vast majority of cases
it’s completely subjective based on our own opinions of our work! I’m not sure how ppl are rating their LoRs in that case (since we couldn’t have read them)

Were you in the military? Asking because getting in with these stats seem unusual? Did you have any hooks/special circumstances?
