I was just wondering if the online program was worth it. I am an aspiring architect and was wondering if places like Cornell would like to see this on my resume. It is a lot of money for my family. Should I sign up?

Thanks for the help!

I don’t know anything about this program, but typically college admissions offices are NOT impressed with a program that is open admission and costs a lot of money. All it tells them is that your family has money. The benefit to summer programs is that you might get a good recommendation from a professor, but if this is an online program, developing relationships with profs is more problematic. Cornell would be more impressed if you painted houses, worked with a carpenter, volunteered for Habitats for Humanity, etc.

Thanks for the help! My dads friend is going to get me an internship at his architecture firm. I think this would be more helpful.
