This may sound like a silly question, but I’m going to ask it anyways.

For the Brown application, they require the PART 1 section to submitted before going to the essay section. I haven’t received my scores from December tests yet , so I want to wait till i get those scores so i can put them on my application before i turn it in.

However, this leaves me clueless about what the essay question is. I can’t seem to find it anywhere, can anyone tell me what the essay part of the application consists of?

Funny, I am actually in the EXACT same situation as the OP--but with a different question.

Can someone tell me the character limits to all of the essays on Part 2?
Obviously I know the questions, I would just REALLY appreciate if ANYONE could tell me the limits. (Specifically the Why essay)

I'm under the impression that the questions haven't changed in decades, so this is what last year's was:

Question #1:
Tell us about the academic areas which interest you most and your reasons for applying to Brown. 1500 character limit
Question #2:
Who interested you in Brown (e.g., college counselor, Brown alumnus/a, admission officer, undergraduate, relative)? 500 character limit

Question #3:
In reading your application, we want to get to know you as well as we can. We ask that you use this opportunity to tell us something more about yourself that would help us toward a sense of who you are, how you think, and what issues and ideas interest you most.

If your essay is over 5000 characters, please upload your essay as an attachment using the option below.

Note: Thanks to the upload function, there is essentially no character limit for the 3rd essay. Mine was a good 898 words/5,520 characters.
