<p>This doesn’t shock me on any moral level, if that’s what you’re looking for. Assuming that pre-transsexual students are really of the other gender inside, sex reassignment surgery should just be a necessary operation.</p>
<p>I am a little surprised our country has gotten to this point so soon, though.</p>
<p>Other schools have offered it in the past. It’s not really news</p>
<p>I’m just happy it went through at Brown, for the sake of some of my friends. Most surgeries still aren’t covered under Brown employee insurance, but the university is working for that as well.</p>
<p>I’m surprised by the reach of the health insurance. Does it also cover plastic surgery and height surgery (serious)?</p>
