Brown Leadership Institute: You sleep in tents?

Can anyone give me an idea of what the Brown Leadership Institute is like? It looks like the best option left for me, as most of the other programs have ceased to accept applications. Would it say anything other than "this kid can pay for a summer program" to admissions officers?

Also, what is the signup like? Do you still have to choose courses like the other Summer@Brown general program, or do you just apply to the leadership institute and that is that?

I was reading about some course in the Leadership Institute named BELL that takes place in a different city than Brown, and the students sleep in tents. This goes back to the question of do you have to choose your own courses or not. Thanks.

Well, I don´t know exactly how is it, but I´m going there this summer, and I know that the program of the Leadership Institute is more exigent than the other Pre - College courses. You also can choose between a range of courses (that obviously aren’t as much as the Pre College ones, they seem to be very good).
And I’ve heard from people who went there last summers and the LOOVED it.
