Brown Require 4 years of foreign language?

<p>I believe one year of AP foreign language is added to the previous years of studying same language. This means that if you have studied say french in 10th and 11th year, AP French in 12th year will count as the third year of studying french.</p>

<p>I just asked admissions. 3 is required, but they EXPECT 4 from serious applicants. So DS is taking Italian in his senior year.</p>
