Brown Status Check!?

<p>Hey-</p>

<p>A recent trip to the Brown Admissions site reveals that they have a link to a status checking page (<a href="https://selfservice.brown.edu/ss/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin)%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://selfservice.brown.edu/ss/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin)&lt;/a>. However, the site requires a login/password which I haven't gotten!! Has anyone else gotten these? Should I call the office?</p>

<p>I <em>think</em> they only use that for freshman.</p>

<p>The Main Admissions page has a link that says: "Transfer applicants can check the status of their applications here".</p>

<p>I called and they told me to wait for the mail which contains the login and password. But so far I haven't heard anything yet.</p>

<p>I don't remember getting a password etc when i applied as a transfer...maybe it's new.</p>

<p>I just got my login and password in the mail. It says I can check the status of my app online.</p>

<p>It's good to see some confirmation from the admissions office! Did your login/password come in a large flat white envelope, or a standard size one? I just got a package slip from campus post and it says that I have a oversized-white flat waiting for me...it could be an accpetance to one of the schools releasing mid-April, or it could be the Brown stuff....PLEASE RESPOND, I don't think I can wait till tomorrow at ten wondering what's waiting for me at the package pickup window (they closed at 4:30) THANKS!!!</p>

<p>Well at least it sounds like you may receive good news from one of the schools you applied. But the Brown envelope which includes the login and password came in a standard sized one.</p>
