<p>Brown University is too good to be true. There is no other thread or thread of students as chill or as cool as Brown’s. I cannot believe I missed this school when in high school. Add the depth of interdisciplinary approach in the classroom and I now realize, I am ready to transfer and accept the fact that I must listen to my deep desires to become a history major. Plus, I can compliment it with the minor in CS! A CS department which is also greatly interdisciplinary at Brown. OMG! Can it get any better! And I can satisfy my multiple interests: linguistics, neuroscience, politics, philosophy, economics, biology!OMG!

<p>I hereby totally disregard Yale, Duke, and UPenn. I thought I wanted to be a PPE major but my actions show otherwise. All this fun I am having working at an archival library during the summer satisfies what has always been deep within me. I have been too afraid to let it out, for fear this capitalistic and materialistic world would trump my dreams and laugh at my naivety to major in History. Books! Books! Books! Knowledge! Knowledge! Knowledge! To help the world compile it. To become an archivist! </p>
<p>Well, random rant, more to randomly say, WAY more. I am just here to declare, to finally acknowledge my love, my one love, HISTORY. May I study you along with my many other passions at Brown in the fall of 2012 and onward! Add the coolness of the folk who seem to attend this fine institution and I just cannot bear it, or even begin to declare it; I think I have found a college which aligns with my personal message… to pursue knowledge for its own sake, no pressure or requirement, to enjoy what you love, and love what you enjoy, and in the end get the paper, and realize that the paper is an icing to a cake which you ate from the years it took for you to get it.</p>
