This doesn't have to necessarily be a "vs" thread, I would just like to hear from people who have taken or are taking the Neuroscience major in Undergraduate at these schools.

The neuroscience department at Duke is absolutely top-notch. Most of the professors that I’ve been taught by have been gifted teachers and influential scientists. Research opportunities are plentiful and the atmosphere is collaborative.
I don’t know much about Brown but I’ve heard that Hopkins can be quite competitive.

Amongst my neurosci friends that went to hopkins, they enjoyed it. Amongst the 3 Hopkins might have the best neurosci reputation amongst researchers based on citations and funding. Hopkins like Duke would be competitive if you are premed. Hard to say which is more competitive between the two given the prevalence of super study asians. http://m.dukechronicle.com/articles/2011/11/30/prepping-pre-med

You have several different kinds of schools here. As Blah said, each school has a rep. It would really be beneficial to go visit the campuses and departments and talk to the u/gs to get a feel for each place. On top of this, YOU might not find the rep holds up among the students you team up with at any one of the schools. You have to check them out and not go on rep. Each is a great education and strong to very strong in neurosci.
