cornell:
maybe my meaning wasn't clear? I like cornell a lot! And I certainly love its food and the food in the area. I'm just saying that the trade off for fresh ingredients is the remoteness. Which some people like, some don't mind, some deal with.

whatever......cornell is still a great place no matter what u guys say

i thought cornell's food was fantastic. however, for all of the hype it received, bryn mawr's food was very disappointing.

Cornell: I don't go to Brown and I'm not favoring it over Cornell or anything right now... I'm just saying it isn't in the middle of new york somewhere. Which is a fact. :?

ilovebrown, who are you? i'm living in cooking house next year too!

James! No one likes you, James! (Hi!)

Woah, really? Rock on! I'm Lily... and I'd guess from your name that you're James? Way to represent Cooking House on CC!

hey lily, and cindy!

BTW, OP--what was the book in question which named brown's food the "worst" among these particular 8 schools?

The girls down the hall from me started cooking house, does that count?

Horay, who are the girls down the hall from you, modestmelody?

Whoa.. Someones insecure..

wow :S I just wanted some inputs...i was curious.
I don't remember the name of this book, since i read it a long time ago and it is in the school's post-graduate center...they did say some pretty nasty things about brown.

and I'm surprised that people actually compared brown with cornell....i've just visited cornell and i loved their food :]..but i thought it was funny when some poster defending that cornell isn't even a real ivy because it's part public...

btw, what's a cooking house?

I think the food is pretty good! There's a farmers market, too. It's not gourmet, but it's certainly better than my old school. (Tulane - Sedexho shudder)
