Bruins Day?

Should I cancel my spring break vacation to go to bruins day?
Is it that important?
Is it worth it?

Any info would be appreciated thanks

@theblanksign‌ Have you already decided on UCLA?

The decision to cancel spring vacation is up to you, but you could always consider Bruin Day to be your vacation.
It’s not that important, but of course it depends what your alternative plans are, and how much it personally matters to you.

Bruin Day is the main recruitment event, where UCLA goes all out to show prospective students what it’s like to be at UCLA. That means feature presentations/lectures, campus tours, student organizations with tables and fliers, campus resources showing you what’s available at UCLA. List continues with housing tours, opportunities to meet current students, chance to talk to someone at the Financial Aid Office.

If none of that matters to you, then there’s not really any reason for you to attend Bruin Day. If you want to have a preview of the Bruin Experience, it will be helpful, especially if you’re still deciding which school to attend.

@alicantekid‌ I’m 99% sure I want to go to UCLA.
@phospholipase‌ Ah thanks for the breakdown of events; I don’t think I need any of those things, I’ve already visited UCLA during a tour, and I’ve done most of that stuff.
