Bruinwalk grade distributions

How does Bruinwalk know the grade distributions for each class? Do they get it from the registrar?

Thanks.

it’s not completely accurate. It’s just whoever bothered to type in whatever grade they got. Hence, it’s also skewed lower because of people wanted to complain about fails.

^That seems unlikely given how many responses would be necessary to give the grade distributions it has.

In fact, several of my classes would literally require a 100% response rate to get the distribution it has. And since I’ve never told it any of my grades… and I don’t think it’s even possible to enter your grades any more…

On the other hand, many north campus professors only have grade data from like 4 people.

It has to be a self-response thing.

Thanks everyone for the responses!

Tia shouldn’t the north campus professors know all the grades though, so that they could enter them into the grade book?

I mean the grades posted on bruinwalk.

I should’ve been more clear. None of the 11 classes I took in 2009/2010 have grade distributions that would make sense without a nearly 100% response rate. These include both North and South campus classes, and classes ranging from 16 people to 278. I find it impossible to believe that it’s self response that’s creating these distributions.

What North Campus professors only have a handful of grades?
