Bryn Mawr Admissions Fall 2022 - Class of 2026

I get that same here- we were up all night w/pet at ER, so my daughter is on edge to begin with. this is her top choice and she’s going to be DEVASTATED BUT I keep telling her 1- if she gets waitlisted, a lot of waitlisted students got in LY, based on these forums , and 2- she got into 2 other colleges already, no fear “YOU ARE GOING TO COLLEGE”. I have to say- I hate this game! Sorry, I DO!

Same same same. She’s got other options, but it would be really nice if this one happened for her, as she really wants it. Oh well, nothing to do but wait… some more.

PS Hope all is well with your pet.

daughter is waitlisted :frowning: She has a weighted GPA 4.319 and a class officer in her debate team, among other charitable organizations. Again… I know a lot of students get in from waitlist- HOWEVER - she has a Presidential scholarship and a Dean’s scholarship at 2 other schools. THIS one was HER fave! I’m SO annoyed, not quite sure what EXACTLY they were looking for- BUT Good luck to all of you … and your kids!
And for the kind person who asked about our pet, fingers crossed; and prayers- he’s very sick :frowning:

Waitlisted! DD is bummed.

Grateful to report that DD is in, fingers crossed we can get more financial aid than the initial offer. Big hugs and best wishes to all, and especially to the sick pet’s family. I know how hard that is.

DD also waitlisted. Weighted GPA is 4.85 . Hispanic/African American college board high recognition. So upset for her. She got into her 3 safety schools but got rejected from her #1 Target school Smith.
I wish I had the magic information as to how admissions works.
Waiting for a few more

Daughter is in as well! I think she is still in shock.

There’s an instagram page for the class of 2026 to introduce themselves.

Daughter got into Reed College this am, and has Presidential Scholarship at College of Wooster (considering both), and still waiting on Decision from Wesleyan later today.

Thank you!

D was accepted and was so surprised to receive the Presidential Scholarship. We’re very excited for her! I guess they aren’t having a specific admitted students day, just admitted students visits? Anyone planning to visit? She’s never been and I think visiting is going to be essential as she weighs her options.

DD accepted to Bryn Mawr with a very generous merit scholarship! She never lets me see the actual portal, so have no idea if it’s Presidential or not-- if anyone who’s received the Presidential scholarship can let me know what that actually is, I’d appreciate it! My DD was also accepted to Wellesley (no merit there for anyone), accepted to MHO (no merit for DD) and waitlisted at Smith. Smith was actually her favorite so disappointed that is the one that waitlisted her, but very happy she has such good options. I am so sorry to those who were waitlisted at BMC-- to me waitlisted is the absolute worst. I told my DD to think of it as a rejection. Love the college that loves you back.

My D got the Presidential Scholarship at $30K per year. That’s really all the letter says about it. She got the same at Oberlin, a little less at Smith, and none at Mt. Holyoke.

what is it with MHO? I haven’t heard of anyone getting merit from them this year!

We were so surprised. It was my daughter’s first choice, and now she can’t go there.
