Bryn Mawr vs Mount Holyoke

Hello, everyone. As you’ve probably noticed, I need to make a choice between BMC and Moho (Bard College is an option as well but I’ve been advised not to consider it having in mind the other 2). My general criteria are based on the prospects I get After college. I need some kind of data (average impressions are just fine) on what the students’ chances of getting into an Ivy League University after the respective B degree are in the two colleges and it seems to me that academics are not the only determinant after all (I’m an observer from very, very, very far away so just keep in mind that I might just as well be very, very, very wrong.)
Thanks in advance!

I’ll be waiting for a comment 8 | :))

Best,

Some statistics:

Concerning grad school in general, Bryn Mawr is ranked 8th in the country in terms of PhD productivity while Mount Holyoke is number 35.
PhD Productivity by Discipline

Bryn Mawr was ranked 26th as a feeder school for top programs in medicine (Columbia, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, University of California San Francisco, Yale), business (Chicago, Dartmouth's Tuck School, Harvard, MIT's Sloan School and Penn's Wharton School) and law (Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, Michigan and Yale). Mount Holoke and Bard do not appear in the top 50.

While all statistics and rankings should be taken with a grain of salt, Bryn Mawr seems to have the stronger track record in grad school admission!

Here is another list put out by reed college for PhD rates, but Bryn Mawr holds its own. Look at the overall. It's ahead of Univ. of Chicago and Yale. Mt. Holyoke isn't on this except for medical school:

REED COLLEGE PHD PRODUCTIVITY

I realize PhD rates aren't so important and I think you would have good placement from either school. Just figure out which you like the best and which has the programs you like the best.

Wow! I absolutely love these statistics! They make me fall in love with BMC even more! (I'm planning to go into anthro and they're #1 in everything anthropological!)

And if you look at the female figures it gets even better.

REED COLLEGE FEMALE PHD PRODUCTIVITY

Yep, not too shabby. ;)

emma problema, you're going into anthro, too?! i sat in on a class and LOOOVED it. the prof was hot, too...hahaha
