Bryn Mawr vs Scripps

BMC is a great school (I went to Haverford) but it’s a completely different environment from Scripps. While BMC shares classes with HC and Swathmore, these colleges are some distance apart so that the BMC campus has many fewer men in the environment. Scripps, in contrast is a part of the Claremont Colleges and, while a women’s college with it’s own classes, requirements, and dorms - - it is very closely linked to the adjacent four colleges. One sees as many men on the Scripps campus as women, which makes perfect sense. So, it depends upon the kind of environment one wants.
