I'm a HSer very interested in majoring in engineering. But the "business" world has always been an interest as well. I hear some engineering undergrads go on to get their MBA. Can anyone tell me more about this option?

Many eng grads go on to MBAs after a few years working. A large minority of MBA students have eng ug degrees.

Thanks, barrons. Do you know what kind of work they do/jobs they get?

when looking for admission to a "top" MBA school (top 20 at least, preferably top 10) would they look better on an engineering UG with engineering 3 years work experience, or a business ug with some on-par job in the business world for 3 years, assuming the business major's GPA is a little higher, and equal GMAT scores and everything else.

Basicly does engineering give you a leg up, or is it just another equal route to be taken.
